Butter Cake - by Ng Mee Teng

If you run out of whipping cream or milk, try this easy butter cake recipe from Alex Goh. 
Also my family all time favourite Butter Cake.

Butter Cake Recipe (8" Round):
(A)
250g Butter
200g C.Sugar (I use 170g)
(B)
5 nos Grade A Eggs (at room temperature)
(C)
210g Cake Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Powder

- Preheat oven to 170 Celsious & lined yr cake pan.
- Beat (A) till light & fluffy.
- Slowly add (B) in few batches & beat till smooth.
- Fold in sifted (C) & pour into pre-lined pan.
- Bake at 180 Celsious for 50 mins (mine at 170 Celsius for 40 mins - adjust according to yr oven)
